Sukuta Wannsee Basic Cycle is a center of learning dedicated to excellence.
We help our students master good learning habits, practise skills to cooperate actively in education, plan and effectively use time for studying and solving tasks. The overall emphasis is on academic excellence through self-motivated and interactive learning. In addition to academic studies, our students can immerse themselves in a wide range of sporting activities, where teamwork and leadership are actively encouraged.
Our school hosts an annual Interhouse Sports Day, giving children the opportunity to develop social skills and build positive relationships that last a lifetime. Through sports, they practice leadership, teamwork, and communication as they meet new people and tackle new challenges. We believe strongly that sports help children strengthen valuable qualities such as patience, discipline, sportsmanship, and the ability to learn from setbacks—traits that shape them into confident, independent, and successful members of society.
Sukuta Wannsee organizes annual educational excursions and tours, carefully supervised by school management and staff. These trips take students beyond their regular learning environment, giving them the chance to explore and learn through hands-on experiences. They make learning more engaging, enjoyable, and memorable. Excursions also help students appreciate the rich social and cultural history of The Gambia, while offering them the opportunity to see and interact with valuable historical and cultural resources and artifacts firsthand.
Over the years, the school has incrementally registered remarkable progress hence its current enjoyment of an unprecedented reputation and recognition as one of the most disciplined and progressive centres of learning.
